Outreach

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink”.  (Matthew 25:35)

Giving back to and fostering our community is important to us at All Saints’ Anglican Church, and we do that through the valuable volunteers in our Outreach Ministry.

CO3 (Coffee, Cookies and Conversation)

Moira Southwell

To offer parishioners and the people of the community at large, regardless of faith affiliation, an opportunity to meet in a safe, caring and friendly environment, in an informal setting, in which to enjoy each other’s company, to alleviate loneliness and isolation and to give people an opportunity to attend a gathering in which to see Christian people at work in a non-threatening environment.

Communications

John Kirby

We are looking to add to the communications team so we can enhance our web and social media work as well as continue to make All Saints’ Alive interesting and relevant to parishioners.

Gardening Guild

Pat Mackeracher

Tends to plantings around the church buildings.

Parish mission and Community Connection

Moira Southwell, Sharon Goldsworthy

Encourage and foster an environment to discover God’s will and future direction and growth of our ministry in our church community, in our neighbourhoods and in the broader community. To provide ongoing dialogue, act as a catalyst to help implement community building ideas coming from those dialogues, to present seed ideas from other sources and to energize the church community to reach out beyond ourselves.

Sunday Morning Coffee Hour

Michael Kacmar

To provide an opportunity for parishioners and guests to meet following the Sunday morning services for a time of fellowship.

Sunday Morning Coffee Greeters

Jacquie Sims

Women’s’ Group

The Women’s Group meets on the third Wednesday of the month from 7:15p – 8:45pm.  It is an opportunity to get to know other women in the parish, to support each other in our life’s journeys, to share and deepen our faith through learning and discussion, to pray for our church, family, community and the world, and to just simply enjoy an evening out!  All women are welcome.  Meetings are held in the church library.  Please enter by the ramp door off the parking lot.  If you need to use the lift, come to the lobby door on Elgin St. and buzz.
