Warden Liaison – Catherine Raaflaub
ACW (Anglican Church Women) – Jean Mackison
ACW of Canada is a loosely knit fellowship of all women in the Anglican Church of Canada. The purpose is to give the women the opportunity to unite in a fellowship of worship, study and service which will lead them into Christian service in the parish, community, diocese, nation, and the world. In All Saints’ this group does fundraising by catering for funeral receptions, weddings and other special occasions. Social events are run such as the Sprig of Holly, and the Strawberry Social. Every woman in the parish is a member and is welcome to participate. Meetings are the first Monday of each month at 1:30pm.
CO3 (Coffee Cookies and Conversation) – Moira Southwell
To offer parishioners and the people of the community at large, regardless of faith affiliation, an opportunity to meet in a safe, caring and friendly environment, in an informal setting, in which to enjoy each other’s company. To alleviate loneliness and isolation and to give people an opportunity to attend a gathering in which to see Christian people at work in a non-threatening environment.
Communications – John Kirby
Develop and maintain a seamless process for communication related to church events internally for parishioners and externally within the community when relevant and requested.
Community Friendship Dinner / Food Program Co-ordinator – Susan Scouten
To provide a monthly dinner with donations of time, food and funds from parishioners. To provide an opportunity for the parishioners and the community to come together for an evening of fellowship over dinner. During the other weeks, frozen “Entrees to Go” Program is offered to address food insecurity for the parishioners and the community.
Green Team – Jane Macfarlane
The earth is our home and we must protect it for future generations. We at All Saints’ Anglican Church want to bring this issue into a religious perspective and feel it is our responsibility to provide leadership within the Church as Green Team members to share information, ideas, activities and suggestions/guidance throughout the years.
Parish Missional Transformation – Moira Southwell, Sharon Goldsworthy
Encourage and foster an environment to discover God’s will and future direction and growth of our ministry in our church community, in our neighbourhoods and in the broader community. To provide ongoing dialogue, act as a catalyst to help implement community building ideas coming from those dialogues, to present seed ideas from other sources and to energize the church community to reach out beyond ourselves.
Salvation Army Donation – TBD
To collect food donations for the Salvation Army Food Bank to distribute to people in need in Collingwood. To encourage parishioners to donate non-perishable food on a regular basis to the three food boxes at the three entrances to our church. To organize additional special drives at times of the year when regular donations from the broader community are low.
Sunday Morning Coffee Hour – Michael Kacmar, Wardens
To provide an opportunity for parishioners and guests to meet following the Sunday morning services for a time of fellowship.
Sunday Morning Coffee Greeters – Nancy Milner
YAD (Young Adult Drop In) – Sharon Goldsworthy
A drop in on Tuesdays, from 11am-2pm for community young adults aged 19-35. We are an inclusive group where all are welcome and can find unconditional acceptance, support, fellowship and a light lunch.
